The Unsinkable Ship

Titanic
Starring: Leonardo DiCaprio, Kate Winslet and Billy Zane
Directed by: James Cameron
Run time: 3hrs
Genre: Love, betrayal and tragedy.

Titanic is a story of love, betrayal and tragedy in the unsinkable ship. It is as gripping and tranquilising as the suspense you’ll find as you watch the movie.

It is a captivating movie about a young woman, Rose Dawson, who is sailing in the ship with her mother and her fiancé, Cal Hockley. She feels imprisoned and betrayed by her own mother, who is forcing her to marry Cal, a rich and arrogant young man.

During the voyage, Rose tries to commit suicide but is saved by Jack Dawson, a third class passenger, who travels around making pencil drawings. Call it what you like but it is love at first sight.

As Rose and Jack get to know each other, their love deepens. This infuriates her mother and Hockley, who attempt to separate them several times. Amidst all this confusion, the Titanic hits an iceberg and starts to sink.
